The El Gregor Show Friday 27th April

On Friday we had the pleasure to attend The El Gregor Anti Bullying Magic Show.
The main messages were
You have the power to make a difference - Be proud and be a student who cares

There are six steps/values to having a fantastic day at school
1. Respect - treat others how you would like to be treated
2. Consideration - think about how others feel
3. Support - each other
4. Courage - to do the right thing
5. Honesty - is the best policy
6. Caring - be a student who cares

Bullying - use W.I.T.S
W - walk away
I - Ignore
T - Tell someone (parent, teacher, friend)
S - Support others

It was fantastic to have Mrs Brooks come into our class today to share with us her experiences while she was visiting Anzac Cove. She showed us medals belonging to her father in law Warrant Officer Brooks.
The medals were very shiny. (Jack)
The different colour strips on each medal represented different countries and different battles fought (Jacob)
The medals were hard earned (Lincoln)
When Mrs Brooks showed us all the photos of the ceremony at Gallipoli we could see that there were many people there (Hannah)

We made poppies for our classroom wreath for our Anzac Assembly tomorrow

Today Grant Simpson took us for soccer, we practised dribbling.
